COLLEGE PLACEMENT SERVICE
The College Placement Service (CPS) has four main parts to it. Seminars, Showcases, Evaluations and College Coaches. The first part is the Seminars. This is a one night event where a power point presentation is given to the student/athlete and family on the how to find the right college. The second part is the Showcase. This is where the student athlete has the opportunity to show RPBaseball his skills and talents on the baseball field in a pro style workout and then a scrimmage game. The third part is an underrated but it is as important as the other three in my opinion. It is the Game Evaluation part. I believe true evaluation is only done at an actual ball game. Part four is where Coach Parr contacts and promotes the student/athlete to college coaches. It is our goal to identify the school that is the best fit and not to find the highest level.
